I'm not really an expert in colors, but last time I looked into HSV (HSB, 
HSL) I came to this Wikipedia page:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HSL_and_HSV#Disadvantages

An I think the conclusion it to use https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CIELUV or 
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CIELAB_color_space#CIELAB instead.

Just my two cents. Feel free to ignore me. ;)
