Okay, what's the 'dual lens assistant' and where can I find it?
(Maybe it needs some fine-tune for a specific model, but in principle it
does all steps needed.)
My criticism was that the C field was silently changed into an S field,
which has different meaning. Maybe emitting a diagnostic would be
appropriate?
