As Klaus Foehl says, you might like to read the instructions. If you don't bother to use the product the way it is intended, you can't complain about it not doing what you want. My guess is that Affinity automatically does what it thinks you want, while Hugin gives you a choice. It even tells you what to do in the first of your images.
