What are the right permissions for /etc/guix?

Machine K: dr-x--x--x 2 root root  4096 feb 21 10:18 /etc/guix/

Preparing to reconfigure two machines, both running Guix systems, I noticed that "/etc/guix" has different permissions in each machine: What are the right permissions for this directory? Machine owners don't recall having changed them.
