Diego, As you point out, all these promise statuses can be confusing and does not contribute to much. You almost only care about when something changed (repaired), or could not be fixed (failed). This is why the classes bodies in cfengine_stdlib.cf checks for multiple failed types (e.g. denied) when defining the failed class.. So try to stick with the three types kept, repaired, failed and we should try to slowly deprecate the rest. Atm I can't see why your example yields repair - perhaps report a bug?
