Hi
I am new to CFEngine and playing with cfengine2 (unfortunately, but will
moving to 3), however I have a couple of questions on the issues I am
facing. I'd appreciate some help on this. The 2 questions are
inter-related.

Question1:
I have configured cfengine2 however, when I run cfrun -v it gives me an
error from my client "outlvl1-dc6" and it does not update the files that I
changed manually and gives me the following error below in bold:

[root@ops1-dc6 inputs]# cfrun -v
GNU Cfengine server daemon -
2.2.10
Free Software Foundation 1994-
Donated by Mark Burgess, Oslo University College, Norway

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Host name is: ops1-dc6

....
....
....

cfrun:ops1-dc6.: Strong authentication of server=outlvl1-dc6 connection
confirmed
outlvl1-dc6 replies..

*Unspecified server refusal (see verbose server output)cfrun:ops1-dc6.:
Couldn't recv*
cfrun:ops1-dc6.: recv
Connection with outlvl1-dc6 completed

Question2:
If something changes, the files in the output directory get created on the
client as logs....for example:
-rw------- 1 root root 918 2011-02-23 21:34
cf_outlvl1_dc6_p8t_us_2011-02-23--21-30-02_1298496602
I made a change in my root crontab and ran a cfagent -v -d2 command and
there was no output log file being generated in the output directory and my
crontab does not get modified. I have cfservd running and the crontab has
got cfexecd -F running every 30 mins. But nothing happens...I mean no
changes. How do I force a change in cfengine2?
However, when I changed my crontab file before 21:34hours, it got updated
at 21:34 hours and I changed it again to test and nothing happened.
I ran cfrun, cfexecd, cfservd and cfagent commands both from the server and
the client and nothing changed it.

As I said I am new to cfengine and please forgive my ignorance.

Thanks
