If you don't use -e you will not get all users' processes, just your own. That is clearly wrong. It is not just root processes that are important. The rest of your message contradicts itself as to what -z means, so I don't understand you. There is no need to filter processes in local zones, so -z has no meaning. If it does not do this is a global zone, it is useless. I think your problem is a build problem.
