Thanks Nick. I'll try that and let you know the result. Cfengine indeed has a
steep learning curve :)
I was able to get past some key errors by adding "trustkey => "true"; " to the
failsafe.cf, then after the key error went away I remmed it out.
body copy_from update_policy(from,server){
servers => { "$(server)" };
source => "$(from)";
purge => "true";
preserve => "true";
compare => "digest";
trustkey => "true";
# exclude .svn and .git revision control files
exclude_dirs => { "\.svn", "\.git" };
}
