So we're looking at something that's months away, at a minimum.  That's
fine-it's better to take your time and do to it right.  However, I think
that there is a need for something--anything!--sooner, even if it is
sub-optimal.

I'll put in a generally good opinion of github.  I've started using it
in a basic way for some other projects, and it's a lot better than, say,
sf.net. :-)
