hi, sorry for asking something that is not directly related to CFengine, but as many of you will probably have virtual environments you probably know the answer.
How can you detect if a host is a vm (esx vm, in my case)? Right now I have a self maintained class virtual where I add manually hosts to the list. This is obviously not ideal. Is there a way to look in the host (linux) if it knows it is a vm? I need this class to install the vmware tools, for instance.
