Well, I didn't invent the string, it comes from the /usr/local/share/doc/cfengine/inputs/promises.cf: cfruncommand => "$(sys.workdir)/bin/cf-agent -f failsafe.cf && $(sys.workdir)/bin/cf-agent"; It worked before 3.0.4p2, AFAIR.
