Hi Niek, Here is a short answers to you survey : 1) I manage currently 10 servers, hoping to manage a much much larger amount of servers 2) quite heterogeneous :) These are Debian, Fedora, Windows machines 3) To automate some tasks, to configure easily new machine, to alleviate the burden of the difference between OS, to enforce some configuration points, for application provisionning... 4) I'm a developper by trade, with some Windows admin knowledge, and very little Linux admin knowledge, not a sysadmin.
