Hi,

I'm trying to append an entry in the hosts file for the host that is
currently running CF Engine.

I've tried several different things but don't seem to be getting
anywhere, does anyone know how to do this?

For example:

10.10.10.10 host1.domain.name.com host1

10.10.10.11 host2.domain.name.com host2

The above is the current host file, I want CF Engine to add the newalias
as below:

10.10.10.10 host1.domain.name.com host1 newalias

10.10.10.11 host2.domain.name.com host2

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Colin.
