In our ongoing attempt to install cfengine 3.0.3 for evaluation purposes, I
think we're getting closer but still running into issues.

Here is where we are so far.

Base system is SLES 10.1 with openssl-0.9.8a-18.15 installed.

I have installed the following packages:
bison-2.1-13.2
flex-2.5.31-18.4
m4-1.4.4-12.2 (needed by bison)
pcre-devel-6.4-14.2
linxtdc++-devel-4.1.2_20070115-0 (needed by pcre)
openssl-devel-0.9.8a-18.15

installed berkeleydb 3.3.11 -- no issues at this point.

started installing cfengine 3.0.3
ran ./configure --with-berkeleydb=/usr/loca/lBerkeley.3.3 -- no problems after
installing openssl-devel
ran make
Here is where we're now getting stuck:
Making all in docs
make[1]: Entering directory `/jim/cfengine-3.0.3/docs'
../src/../src/cf-serverd -M > `echo ../src/cf-serverd.8 | sed s/src/docs/`
../src/../src/cf-serverd: error while loading shared libraries: libdb-3.3.so:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [cf-serverd.8] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory `/jim/cfengine-3.0.3/docs'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

can't seem to track down this libdb-3.3.20
