I tried to reply to this before from the wrong account (not allowed to post to the list), so let me summarize.
1. Syntax changes (especially in the direction of ambiguity) are not up for discussion. That would lead to fragility of the parser, back to cfengine 2 woes. 2. End commas in lists have been allowed for months. Upgrade? 3. Classes in /var/cfengine/state/allclasses.txt, but unspecific. It would be straightforward to print out hard classes, but what for?
