That's the other thing. We can store and OS/2 .ico in SVN, no problem, but who will maintain it, if it changes? (plus it only has a point if it can be used by gcc) Well, not a huge loss anyway. The main driving force for Windows .ico was to give a better look when installed using .exe installer and added to Start Menu. For OS/2 we don't have an installer, so it's not huge problem.
