I think we are talking on two different planes. There is no concept of 0 base in Clipper code, is there ? => There is no concept of 0 base in Clipper arrays. hb_gtInfo( HB_GTI_PALETTE ) numeric index and an array both. And here is where my logic resided, not that numeric 0 is not a valid parameter. Anyway this is not a big deal. I will change it but first I have to serach my application if I ever used this feature with numeric indexes or not. A little later, now on hbIDE alone... ----- enjoy hbIDEing...
