We should assume that only one compiler is _configured_ at any given moment, regardless of the range of compilers installed. > 2) User selects the compiler to use User selects compiler by configuring it and letting hbmk2 autodetection detect it. This is true when using hbmk2 directly and should be true when using hbide (which in turn calls hbmk2). I'd strongly advise against using -compiler= option in a hard-wired fashion to force specific compiler or platform. At this point pls read my other mail first. For special cases, like cross-platform development, it'd useful if you can add possibility for custom hbmk2 options to each 'compiler profile'. Other solutions would result in quite many duplicate code and logic and keeping these in sync on various levels. Plus double documentation, one which applies when using hbmk2 directly and another one which applies when hbmk2 is used from hbide. We should avoid that situation. > 3) .hbp is generated Yes. > 4) hbmk2 is called with what minimum parameters ? hbmk2 project.hbp Please make sure to read my just sent mail.
