Maybe we should upload it, and continue to extend the code online, it's a very important addition, and everyone could benefit from it. It could go to /contrib/examples/<...>/ as is.

Ok, I'll do, if Mindaugas agree. Do you have a name proposal ?
I think we can name it webserver (what fantasy ;-) ).
One version I have is based on Mindaugas version with socket.c and it is fast and stable. Another is based on inet*() version, that offers actually multiplatform support and extensions, but it has some problems.
So if it is ok I will upload first version.
Both have one problem at end of application if using HRBs modules (Unrecoverable 9001 error) but only on exit and I have not found the cause, otherwise they works.

I've played with OpenSSL in context with hbcurl. Once getting through the burden of building it (or using the .dll version), it seemed pretty simple to add SSL support for example for SMTP. To use it with Harbour apps, either an OpenSSL API Harbour wrapper layer would be needed, or a C level Harbour inet API. At least that's how it seemed to me.

Yes same thought here, also if I have found some basic examples around the net on minimal HTTPS support. What I would like is to have a full multiplatform support and HTTP/HTTPS. Perhaps it is the moment to start final net development.

Best regards

Francesco
