If the intention was to break code on the whim of changing the name, you've accomplished.

Miguel, keep out your comments of this kind of tone
from this list, if I may kindly ask you.

First of all it's not obligatory to participate (or even
to use Harbour), secondly you can have exactly one guess
about my intentions. That is, if you watched my activity
around Harbour, in say the last 9 years, but the last 3
would also make it.

[ But maybe you didn't and that's why my name is carefully
never mentioned when you transport modifications from here
to xhb. ]

Thank you.

If what you wanted was to create a ESISO, you can add only this, but do it well and not copying the codepage ESMWIN

"do it well" ??

ESMWIN codepage is a consensus among various programmers to make it compatible with the codepage "Modern_spanish" that Microsoft uses in its applications, and that is also compatible with all other languages "Latin" without characters above 256 (utf8).

I didn't touch the collation, just aligned the name to the followed
standard in this directory. If that's bothering, we can rename the
name of the codepage (but not the file).

for example this collation is compatible with french, portuguese, spanish, catalanish, galician and italian (COMPATIBLE) This codepages are ansi collation codepages. And are not ISO, really is a merge of codepages to to use only one in countries
where are speaked more than on language as spain.

Great, such information is good to be included in the comments inside
that file, otherwise neither the users nor anybody else can know about
it.

If is possible, please revert the name changed. And remove the new one copy.

Give me a good reason why not add ESISO as an _option_, or why could this
bother anyone, and why HBISO is inferior to ESWIN, and I'll instantly
remove it for you.

What about backguard compatibilitie....

We're in 1.1, and if find something which isn't right, I'll modify
it and mark as such (see 'INCOMPATIBLE' texts in my entries).
From time to time I revise the changes, and some of them will also
be implemented in the 1.0.x branch to ease switching between the
versions.

Brgds,
Viktor
