I would suggest to start with few samples and add more only after they are carefully reviewed by the group ( we could create a new dir in the svn to hold the official samples and demos, Viktor? ).
Sure. We already have 'examples' which seems to be the preferred name choice of other projects, too. It currently resides inside /contrib, but we may move it to the root for better visibility. What structure to follow inside that dir is up the our decision. Maybe a dir named 'miniapps' would be good, or we could just pour those into the root, but that's usually doesn't look very elegant. Any comments on these? [ BTW I already packaged /contrib/examples with binary distros since 1.0.0, well, for DOS/Windows that is. ]
I would avoid ? for printing outstd() is more "compiler" style I would add Mac OS X screens also ( I can help here ) We say Terminal/GUI but which is the GUI we provide? The word "macro" can be misleaded we should use another term sth like "dynamic code evalutation"?
I agree with the above, plus there are some syntax details which I'd make to look like other parts of Harbour for clarity and being uniform.
