Hi Pritpal,
You can commit it, if all parties agree and the
license permits it (I couldn't find a license).
This carries open license. I have personal consent from Victor K. to
publish
the code as I like. So just put the Harbour license with credits to
Victor
K. ( Me just converted the procedural code to class code with few
modifications).
Seems perfect to me. Kudos for both of you for making
this available.
Another alternative, OSS, ANSI C, with more features
and only ZLIB and LIBPNG dependencies is Haru Free
PDF Library (libharu) by Takeshi Kanno. This one of
course needs a Harbour layer to be developed.
Wrappers should not be difficult. Where can I find the link. Do we
have
LIBPNG before I should start looking into it?
We don't have LIBPNG (yet). But if you look for the
.dll version of this lib, both LIBPNG and ZLIB are
linked in already, so we only have to deal with this
if we want a fully standalone version hbharu.lib. (the
code is ANSI C and tested with most of our supported
compilers, so the choice is there).
And the link:
http://libharu.sf.net/
BTW, libharu has the same license as ZLIB/LIBPNG.
Brgds,
Viktor
