Hi Steve,
Thanks for the multiple clarifications and emphases regarding various
strands which contribute to the governance of Guix.
I would like to point out that (probably through oversight) the Guix
Foundation's Solidarity Advisory Council is not currently treated as
equivalent to a Team.
SAC membership has limited governance prerogatives of Guix as a legal
entity and necessitates identity towards French regulations.
As such, I would argue that this undefined behaviour requires clarity.
I would prefer if some elder considered neutral on any outstanding GDCs
could form an opinion in order to resolve this bug.
If such a remedy is uncouth or the configuration of GDCs or Teams
already considered higher ranking, then I suppose I shall have to bother
you collectively with a GDC or ankle biting during Guix Days :thunder:
... Of course there can be justifiable reasons for formalising what the
SAC is and what it isnt within a dedicated GDC.
However, from what I have so far perceived the last few months there are
no reasons for perturbation.

Hi,
I looked at the number of people who've participated in voting for
GCD's today. After a chat on IRC I realised it might be worth reminding
people on this list about the role of teams is - and why (if you're a
contributor) you should join one!
