The absurdity of this claim relies on the assumption that the burden of 
self-reflection is supposed to be _only_ on the shoulders of Christopher, or 
anyone who doesn't agree with those who "feel the need".

What is stopping those who so strongly do feel the need for this change to 
_also_ undergo a similarly critical self-reflection of their position?
