Maybe we could be a bit more explicit instead of “may be perceived as
harmful”, if the case needs to be made stronger. For instance, “the
current default, “master”, evokes a metaphor for a political
organization based on inequality. This is at odds with the interaction
model Guix wants to promote through the Contributor Covenant, …”

Maybe these are not the right words, and maybe no more verbosity is
required. I’m not used to discussing such topics, but I’m glad someone
is pushing things in the right direction, away from the uselessly
harmful metaphors, thank you.
