Thanks, David [1] however, it seems there is another problem, which is that when i leave the animated-paintable.scm run ... after a certain time, which can be short (a few seconds) or quite long (more then 10 minutes), all of a sudden it stops and raises an exception - could you also try that and let me know, thanks
