That looks like a gtk/gtkmm bug to me, but it's hard to tell without some context. Could you make a tiny test program which shows this behaviour? It also looks like you're missing the gtk symbols (no line number or name for the gobject.c call). You might be able to make the stack trace more legible by installing the gtk debug packages.
