This is sort of off topic, but since the stability of GTK on Windows was a 
subject of this thread, I'd like to ask about GIMP?
How come GIMP is completely stable on WIndows? Does it use the 2.16 GTK+ 
version?

And Tor, you have stated numerous times, that it's not recommended to use GTK+ 
from multiple threads on Windows, in fact it shouldn't even work in most cases. 
So GIMP is a single threaded software? There's never a GTK+ multithreaded 
activity?
