Mohamed I remember that at least as authors we discussed some models that were proposed in some discussions on the WG. At least the ones that we reviewed, we found that the interconnection model was more about transport and physical links and didn't fit well with public link peering links.
I tried to find the models and the discussion but I failed to find it. If you have more details on what we should look at we can review again and formally address your comments.
