I'm sorry Tadziu, but that artifact of the web GUI mailer drives me nuts too. 
(I run postfix here, but it'll no longer authenticate at my ISP, so sending 
from mutt became impossible some time ago.) I can flow text paragraphs to avoid 
the artifact, but that doesn't work with code/groff snippets. It's a dilemma, 
solved by finding another way out for email, I admit. That's on the list, and 
this experience will move it up a bit.

I've watched a few YT groff clips, mostly facile, but the inadvisability of 
blank lines did come through in the good ones.

I'm not sure if this list accepts attachments? That might be an interim 
workaround?
