Correct on both counts. Note that mom has two macros: UNDERLINE and UNDERSCORE. UNDERLINE underlines multi-line passages and is the solution to there being no meaningful .cu available for PostScript or PDF output. (Should we raise this issue again? Nothing ever seems to get done no matter how much we discuss it.) The -Tps limitation is a drag, but I don't think there's any way to implement something similar for -Tpdf. UNDERSCORE exists because one rarely wants underlined passages in typeset copy anyway. At most, one wants to underscore a title, a heading, or a few words of text. UNDERSCORE uses \D'l ...', which does not span lines, a limitation mitigated by there being no restriction on the chosen output device. -- Peter Schaffter https://www.schaffter.ca
