I don't think I have any stake in this either way, except that man and mdoc should be mutually-consistent, and IMO we should document the choice made in both groff_man(7) and groff_mdoc(7) with a brief comment on the rationale to head off future questions. -- Colin Watson [cjwat...@debian.org]
