Howdy’all! *<TL;DR>*
Moving into 2018 the Reps Peers body intends to recommit to its programmatic responsibilities <https://wiki.mozilla.org/ReMo/Structure_Governance#Mozilla_Reps_Module>. This requires some changes in the setup of this leadership body. With this email we seek to inform you all and to address any questions you might have. *<Long Version>* The Open Innovation team is bound to further operationalize Mozilla’s Open Innovation Strategy <https://wiki.mozilla.org/Innovation/Projects/Open_Innovation_Strategy> and run experiments around community leadership structures. Reps Peers desire to be of valuable service to these objectives. Setting up the Peers for success, we propose some changes and a commitment on intent: Proposed Changes - Michael Kohler <https://mozillians.org/u/mkohler/> * is *joining Peers - Brian King, Nikos Roussos, Pierros Papadeas, Regnard Raquedan, William Quiviger are leaving Peers This means that moving forward the Module Owner remains to be Ioana Chiorean <https://mozillians.org/u/IoanaChiorean/> with Michael Kohler <https://mozillians.org/u/mkohler/> and Henrik Mitsch <https://mozillians.org/u/hmitsch/> as Peers. We expect to add further people throughout 2018 to ensure a diverse and active group of module Peers. Commitment on Intent - With this updated setup, Peers commit to be more active in the program. - In exchange, Peers request to be involved in early stages of decision processes impacting the strategic direction of the Reps Program. We know it is a very busy time for Mozillians but let us know if you have any concerns and we will try to address them ASAP. We will officially make the changes on the wiki around Dec 21st, 2017. Regards, Ioana Chiorean (Module Owner) Henrik Mitsch (Peer) -- *Stefania Ioana Chiorean Mozilla Reps Module Owner @ioana_cis* _______________________________________________ governance mailing list governance@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/governance
