How do you see this study lining up with the data already being collected for the Firefox Health Report? This discussion strikes me as raising similar questions and tradeoffs, which were discussed on this forum and also blogged about by Mitchell and the metrics team.*
Users currently have options under Preferences to "automatically send technical and interaction data to Mozilla" and to "send crash reports to Mozilla." How do you see handling the opt-out for the study from a UX perspective? Is there a way to automatically opt out those of us sending a DNT header?
