Maybe Mozilla should look a little closer at pages shoved into the faces
of their users. There have been comments regarding the Subject words
alluding to offensive language. I thought I'd post them here as users
have no place to communicate to Mozilla.
"I was most disappointed to see that you now emblazon your search engine
page with the slogan "Fox Yeah" - obviously based on a particularly foul
expression. I'm no prude, but there is a time and a place for that sort
of thing and 24/7 on a platform constantly accessed by children is not
it. Would you be happy I wonder if guests at your house started to use
or allude to filthy language?
Result: I will be using another browser from now on."
"Ok guys,
You think its cool to play off of F—, yeah. It’s not. It’s gratuitous.
It’s lame. It’s bad taste. Firefox is too cool of a browser to need such
bottom feeding marketing."
"Hello there. I was a bit shocked when I opened up Firefox yesterday
and saw the words "Fox Yeah". The way it is worded is very offensive.
It appears as if you are trying to insinuate profanity. Please refrain
from using those types of over the line techniques."
Does Mozilla not want to care about ALL of their users?
Terry
