Over the years I have donated thousands of dollars to the Mozilla Foundation (MF). After meticulous contemplation and consultations with legal representation, I have decided that I will be redirecting those funds to other, actually deserving Internet related non-profit(s). CEO Brendon Eich, was treated unfairly and hatefully. There is too much love available in this world to support a entity whose biggest notable event of the year is participating in a campaign of hate.
Social media is a wonderful way to spread positive messages and also a way to expose entities with agendas that include hate and other evil leanings. With the assurance of my lawyers, that I am within my legal rights and need not worry that I may be sued and suffer monetary losses, I have begun a campaign that I intend to finance liberally, to spread the message that MF is not worthy of any more monetary donations from Americans that believe in freedom of speech and of expression. By doing what the MF did, many Americans now worry about possible repercussions, if they donate monies to someone or some cause that others may disagree with. Where is that fear going to lead the nation? MF should truly be ashamed of themselves for the anti-American stance that they took. If I can negatively impact MF' fiscal health by ten percent, I would be ecstatic and astonished. If I negatively impact MF' fiscal health by more than one half of one percent, I will be satisfied and proud of the good people in my circles. Organizationally perpetrated hate has (OPH) no place in the United States of America. OPH was an important property of pre-WWII Germany, that their Führer Adolf Hitler was ecstatically in favor of, and in fact, demanded. Wake up before MF is responsible for something so horrible that it can't just be apologized for--which MF has not even had the sense to do up to this point. _______________________________________________ governance mailing list governance@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/governance
