Hi all, does anyone know if there is a possibility to change the behaviour of the ZOOM_PAN navigation control? To be more precise to add a new behavior to the "hand" shown between the direction markers?
When I'm opening a map at maps.google.com, doing some zooming and moving, and clicking on the hand the map is set back to its initial zoom level and its initial center coordinates. When creating a map on my own with the V3 API the "hand" does not have this behaviour. I would like to add the same behaviour to the hand in my own maps (Maps created with the V2 API have this behaviour but the icon is another than the hand).. Does anyone have a clue if this is possible and if yes how to do it? If there is no way to do it with the hand in the navigation control I'm thinking of creating a custom control.
