I just read this. The other day I was looking at a Python vs PHP comparison, and it turns out 5.3 has added a lot of the missing features that I used to complain about all the time when I worked in PHP4/PHP5-land:

Do you guys think that supporting a PHP runtime would actually be a "game changer"? As far as .NET goes - does anyone here have experience running a production web service on Mono? How did it go? Pretty much just asking for the sake of asking; don't interpret this as us planning for these language runtimes.
