That's what happened to me! At first I tried $s{sort/./g}, knowing that you could use a list within the hash key, but of course it doesn't work. So then I moved to $s{join 1,sort/./g}, but quickly discovered that you could safely leave out the space. You'll see that my early solutions (107.34, 102.38) use this $s{join1,sort/./g}. So imagine my surprise when I discovered that I was producing hash keys like "join1dorw" for "word"!
