Send a nice email to the guy who owns www.perlgolf.org, and say you have experiance and would like to set it up as a community page for the sport. Next head to someplace like NukePHP (Eak, advocating the enemy!), install it as the community system, and then set your hit counter to 0. Set your personal challenge to build the site upto the point it's had a million hits... probably getting it slashdotted along the way. Oh yeah, and make sure you get the guy to pass perlgolf.org onto YAS/Perl Mongers - to avoid any discontent/power struggle that could occur later on. Hey, it's worth a shot.
