Thanks Andreas! I read the messages in that region for the first time today.
Yes, I know about the draggable seperator. When I open this sheet, I would like to see all my sheets and in the remaining space this region (which shows various messages). I have attached my sheet for reference. If I open the same sheet in OpenOffice then I can see all my sheets without having to resize anything. - Kishan On Sun, Jan 2, 2011 at 12:02 AM, Andreas Guelzow <[email protected]>wrote: > On Fri, 2010-12-31 at 20:18 +0530, Kishan Bhat wrote: > > I have attached screenshot of the area in Gnumeric window at the > > bottom that seems pretty annoying that it consumes screen area that I > > would otherwise expect to be taken up by buttons that get to my all my > > sheets. > > > > Any idea how I can resize this area or get rid of it completely? > > The region in question is the status bar that shows various messages > when you open or save files, select menu items etc. > > There is a dragable separator to change the space allocation for it, but > I think you know that. > > Andreas > >
