Flywire,

I'm still not clear what changes you're proposing here or where they are
intended to be placed. While I fully understand that you've created a new
report that you want added to GnuCash that you feel meets the needs for
analytical accounting, I don't understand your use of the word "data" here; the
Guide doesn't really have data. It provides some examples in the course of
explaining how to use GnuCash, but it isn't really a source of data, per se.

Since you're seeking to modify the Tutorial & Concepts Guide, you should
consult the wiki (<https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Documentation_Improvement>) on
the proper method for updating that documentation. This list is decidedly not
the right venue for this.

Furthermore, while I appreciate your attention to the documentation aspect of
the endeavor (I've worked in the past to rewrite large sections of the Guide),
I think it would be more appropriate at this time for you to officially submit
the report to the project via bugzilla and git, so that the community can test
the report out and offer feedback more generally. Once that has occurred, the
report can get added to the release, and your Guide edits can be submitted
through git. Until that time, it's premature to edit the Guide.

Although it is not necessary, you might consider creating a documentation bug
in bugzilla to start the process off and alert the development team of your
goal.
