Sorry you're having trouble, Dianna. 2.6.1 is abut 8 years old: 2017 was before Windows 11 was even a gleam in Bill Gates's eye. I know it's a pain, but I think you have two options: 1. Run Windows 7 as a virtual machine "guest operating system" under the Windows 11 "host operating system". 2. Upgrade GnuCash in two steps: first to the latest version 3, then to the latest version 4. (2.6.21 is already the latest version 2.) You may or may not want to upgrade in a third step to the latest version 5. I can attest that GC 4.14 (the latest version 4) works just fine in Windows 11 on my laptop. > Ever since I updated to Win 11, everything has gotten sluggish. I have not noticed programs running slower on my Windows 11 laptop than my Windows 10 desktop. It sounds like your computer may be technically Windows 11 compatible, but underpowered as a practical matter. (Another possibility is that you picked up some malware.)
