Hi Alan, Maf, txn type L stands for "Lot link transactions". It does exist and these kinds of transactions are created when you (partially) pay an invoice with a credit note. For all intents and purposes gnucash should treat is as a "Payment" type transaction, but perhaps not all parts of the code have been updated after the introduction of this new transaction type (somewhere early in the 3.x gnucash series if I remember correctly).
