An alternative is simply to take the latest statement you have and reconcile everything up to and including the transactions in the statement you are using. Presumably, if everything is OK, then the closing balance should match. Of course, any discrepancies force you to follow David C.'s advice.
This begs the question: how exactly does one reconcile a later month *without* clearing those earlier transactions? David T.
