That does sound like a bug!

Here's a suggestion that might help you locate the created transactions --
look in the .log files that got created in that session. They're a bit hard
to read, but there's a lot in plain text, and the filename gives you the
date and time, so you can figure out what part of the session they got
created, and at least have descriptions of the created transactions.

I use the XML (default) data files; if you use a database backend I presume
it still creates .log files, but I don't know.
