Ken, I'm using Gnucash 5.6+(2024-03-30) and Finance Quote 1.62 and it works for me but I don't recommend you use it as it stuffed up my gnucash data file. After it finished I tried to go back into Gnucash and got the dreaded "The program Gnucash has stopped working wait while we report it to Microsoft" or whatever the error is. Only fixed the issue by going back to the backup file from immediately prior to the command line cli command and copying it as my usual name gnucash file.
Not much in the way of displays either - just says it "Found Finance::Quote Version 1.62." even with the verbose option. It's a bit dicky on Windows anyway as it seems you have to change all the backslashes to forward slashes manually :-) As for your problem I'm only using Alphavantage and a couple of securities on the NYSE - AAPL and UIS so you might be wanting to check how your securities are setup ?
