David Tommy etal As Ubuntu and Linux Mint are ultimately Debian based it should be possible to install using dpkg or the Gdebi installer (you may need to install this on Ubuntu -in terminal - "sudo apt install gdebi - but it is the default installer in Linux Mint) from http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/g/gnucash/ which has versions up to 4.10-2 available usually for a range of processor types. Click on a version link to download the appropriate .deb file and then at terminal prompt type "sudo gdebi <filename>.deb" and return.
