Any chance you could show a screen-shot of what you're look at? Maybe a screen shot of your Chart of Accounts? If your data is there, it is VERY UNLIKELY that the account in question got deleted. My guess is that you had the account tab open and, over the upgrade, that history was lost... Which means you just need to open the account again. I'm sure it's there. But without seeing what you're seeing, it's hard to tell you where to look!
