Dear All:

I have been keeping my checkbook register on a Mac Powerbook computer via
GnuCash since at least 2014. I recently migrated to a new-to-me Mac and when I
open my GnuCash files, I no longer seem to have the top level account (master)
file to my checkbook register! All of the income/expense detail accounts are
there but without the master checking account file, I don’t have a running
balance and I don’t see my transactions in calendar order.

Does anyone know how I can recover my master account? Any insight as to what
has happened to my backup files?

Your help is much appreciated. I am hoping not to need to recreate my register
for at least this calendar year.

Anne Giordani
